Police say driver was killed in a car crash in York County

CLOVER, SC (WBTV) – A driver was killed in a car accident in York County on Monday, November 11, according to the South Carolina State Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred around 12:50 p.m. along Davidson Road near Lexington Green Drive.

Police said the driver was traveling south on the road when he went off the left side of the road and struck a mailbox and then a tree.

The driver was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. This person’s identity has not been released.

This collision remains under investigation; No further information was released.
