Polls on battleground states are still well within the “margin of error”

Pollster Jeremy Zogby claims he expects a “big event” that could be a “decisive factor” in swaying key undecided voters in the US election.

In polls in the battleground states, the Republican candidate Donald Trump is slightly ahead.

“That’s well within the margin of error – when you give samples, you’re dealing with sample sizes of 800 to 1,000, which gives a margin of error of plus or minus 3.” [per cent]” Mr Zogby told Sky News presenter Gabriella Power.

“I’m still looking for the sweet October surprise that happens almost every election cycle…with six days, I’m looking for a major event that could be a game-changer with the important four to five percent of voters who are undecided .”
