Ryan Reynolds’ deleted scene from Deadpool & Wolverine is going viral

Ryan Reynolds fans were in an uproar when the actor shared a hilarious deleted scene from Deadpool and Wolverine That made her beg, “Put it back in.”

The superhero film has arrived on Disney+ and the actor marked the release by releasing the previously unreleased clip on Franchise – featuring a series of swear words – and fans loved it.

The clip quickly went viral and was viewed 6.4 million times just one day after the Hollywood star posted it on the platform.

In the scene, the comic book hero was surrounded by Deadpool variants as he delivered a heartfelt speech to Peter Wisdom (Rob Delaney). “My Peter gave me a sense of belonging that no one else would,” he exclaimed. “From the diaphragm, yes!” he roared.

After a brief pause, the people around Deadpool began shouting insults, calling him a “loser” and shouting things like “damn” and “damn” at him and Wolverine. One of them – played by English footballer Paul Mullin – then leaned over and made a rude gesture as he said to Deadpool: “Fuck it.”

“This scene has been deleted from the film, but not from my heart,” Reynolds said when he released it on X.Deadpool and Wolverine is available today on @DisneyPlus.

Fans loved it and said they wished the scene had remained in the film. “Why was it deleted?!” demanded one viewer. “PUT IT BACK!” pleaded another. “This scene is so strange, I knew you cut something out. Add it!”

“Would have won an Oscar with this,” one fan quipped, while another remarked, “I wish you had kept that… The timing of this response makes this hilarious…”

“But I don’t understand why it was removed,” one stunned fan wrote. “Because honestly you should have kept it.” Someone else noted that deleted scenes “are like hidden gems,” adding, “Thank you Always give us the best, Ryan!”

“I will only forgive you for leaving this out if you publish it Deadpool 4” someone else joked.

Reynolds announced earlier this year that Mullin would make a cameo in the film. The footballer is a striker for the Welsh club Wrexham, of which the actor is a co-owner. And in July he posted snaps of X of them together on set, with Mullin in the costume of a would-be Deadpool, as he said: “You may have noticed that one member of the Deadpool Corps was far deadlier than the others. CATFISH POOL.”

Newsweek has emailed representatives for Reynolds seeking comment.
