Salma recently revealed that Valentina would like to do films but is also interested in pursuing another career in college. Hayek confirmed that her daughter would like to make films, but she is also interested in pursuing another career in college. “She wants to major in political science and then minor in film because she wants to be a director,” Salma continued. “But she doesn’t want to study directing; She said, “It’s in my blood.” I want to spend the time learning something more complicated.”

Last year’s epic cake moment

Although Salma didn’t reveal any details about how they would celebrate last year, she did give some insight into the family’s birthday traditions. At 86, her father was already taking part in a classic Mexican birthday custom, the “Mordida” – a playful tradition in which the birthday person’s face is pressed into the cake.

After singing “Las Mañanitas,” it was Valentina who gave her grandpa a gentle push, sending him into the cake for a moment before Salma helped him raise his head and show his smile.
