Semi-trucks collide on I-40 in icy pileup in Arizona

A portion of Interstate 40 was closed in northern Arizona on Wednesday after snow and ice made roads slippery.

The winter weather occurred on November 6 near the intersection of Interstate 40 and Interstate 17 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

According to AZ Family, the accidents began around 5:45 a.m. and involved approximately eight vehicles. The pileup involved several semi-trucks that blocked and blocked the east and west sides of the highway.

The traffic jam stretched from downtown Flagstaff to the west side of the city.

Snow and half an inch of ice were reported in the Flagstaff area at the time of the crash. No further information was released.
