Shedeur Sanders wanted to stay with Colorado football to make “almost as much” as the NFL

Sean Labar of Mike Farrell Sports pondered the possibility that Coach Prime Shedeur’s Colorado football program could lure Sanders back to Boulder with zero funds comparable to a possible NFL payout.

Ultimately, Labar expects both Shedeur and Colorado to get a good deal if he were to consider a fifth collegiate season.

“Shedeur Sanders has a chance to achieve an unprecedented feat alongside his father, but instead he chooses to go to the NFL, where his fate depends on where he ends up,” Labar wrote. “A final year of college would allow him to hone his skills, earn nearly as much as he did as a first-round rookie and give the Colorado Buffaloes a legitimate chance to win a national title.”

The return of Shedeur is too good to be true. It’s also off the table. The “Grown QB” has already said it He doesn’t sign up for classes and goes to the league.

But if he came back, the Bucks could have a perfect situation in their QB room.

Julian Lewis canceled a visit to Indiana. USC is losing and fears an exit from its recruiting class as Lincoln Riley’s Trojans are in free fall. Things are looking good when it comes to Coach Prime’s search for a replacement for Shedeur.

Landing Lewis and placing him behind Shedeur and learning Pat Shurmur’s offense at a deliberate pace would be ideal for Carrolton’s QB development.

The Buffs would also be in a better position to win the Big 12 with a fifth-year superstar who would have missed the NFL two years in a row.
