Quarterbacks

Los Angeles and Miami lead their teams into the competition.

Stafford has completed 65.9% of his passes for 1,969 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions. He added nothing as a runner. Stafford has scored at least 18 points in the last two weeks, which is when the Rams get their top two receivers back.

Tagovailoa has completed 72.7% of his passes for 948 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. He added 44 rushing yards. Since returning from his concussion, Tagovailoa has scored 33 points in two games.

This is a pretty average matchup for Tagovailoa, as Los Angeles allows 16 fantasy points per contest. He is projected to score 19 fantasy points. It’s a tough matchup for Stafford as Miami only allows 12 points per game. He is estimated at 16 points.

If forced to make a choice between these two, I would take Tagovailoa, but I don’t think as highly of him as the projections say. I think he’ll only outscore Stafford by a point or two, and it wouldn’t be too surprising if Stafford scored more points tonight.

Running backs

is the Rams’ workhorse. is the only other defensive lineman to have a touchdown in the last three games, and he has scored just nine times in that span.

is the lead back for Miami. has recorded double-digit touches in three straight games while recording 13 touches in the last three contests.

Williams has rushed for 602 yards and eight touchdowns on 161 attempts this season. He has 116 receiving yards and two scores on 20 grabs and 25 targets. Williams has scored double-digit points in every game as a fantasy player and scored at least once in every game prior to Week 9.

Corum has 72 rushing yards on 21 attempts this season while catching two passes for an additional 17 yards.

Achane has 420 rushing yards and two scores on 93 attempts this season. He added 302 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 37 receptions and 42 targets. Since Tagovailoa’s return, Achane has scored 59 fantasy points in two games.

Mostert has 214 rushing yards and two scores on 55 attempts, along with 71 receiving yards on seven grabs and nine targets. Mostert has scored 25 fantasy points in the last two weeks.

Wright rushed for 208 yards on 42 attempts but had no scores. He hasn’t caught a pass yet.

The matchup for the Rams’ running backs is very favorable as Miami allows 25 fantasy points per game. Williams is projected to have 21 PPR fantasy points, while Corum is at three. The Dolphins defense has an average matchup, with LA giving up 22 points per week. Achane is predicted to score 21 points, Mostert 10 and Wright fails to reach the top 53.

I’d also pick Williams first in the favorable matchup – he’s a must-have fantasy player regardless of the matchup. Achane is another player who needs to be in the starting XI and should have another good fantasy performance tonight.

After that I like Mostert. He was a flex-level option this week but is a safer player in deeper leagues.

In my opinion, Wright is also ahead of Corum. There are no real fantasy starting options tonight either (outside of the deepest leagues).

Wide receiver

and will lead the Rams’ wideouts in this game. and were on the injury report, but are both active. and there are a few other options.

is Miami’s top wideout, but he is questionable because of a wrist injury he suffered late in the week. , Jr. and are the only other receivers to have played in each of the last three games.

Kupp has 302 yards and two touchdowns on 34 receptions and 49 targets this season. He has hit 22 goals in the last two weeks, including 14 a week ago.

Nacua has 152 yards on 12 catches and 17 targets this season. He has scored 13 goals in the last two games, with action interrupted last week due to a sending off.

Robinson managed 94 yards and two scores on six receptions and nine targets, with Nacua missing much of the game last week. He had six goals in the last two weeks.

Johnson scored five goals in that game, but only one the week Nacua and Kupp returned. Atwell had three goals last week and two the week before that.

Hill has 446 yards this season but just one score on 34 catches and 55 targets. Since Tagovailoa’s return, Hill has scored 14 goals in two games.

Waddle has rushed for 310 yards and one touchdown on 28 catches and 38 targets. He has set eight goals in the last two weeks, but only set two goals last week.

Beckham has 15 yards on three catches and seven targets this season. He achieved three of those goals last week. No other Miami wideout had a target last week.

It’s a slightly above average matchup for the Dolphins’ wideouts, with LA allowing 34 fantasy points per game. Miami’s defense is giving up just 26 points per week, one of the best marks in the league in Week 10.

Kupp is projected to score 17 PPR points, while Nacua is at 16 and Hill is at 15. Waddle had 11 points while Robinson scored eight points. No other wideout cracks the top 54.

If Hill is able to adapt, I actually like him the best in today’s game, although Nacua and Kupp are very close. I like Nacua to outperform Kupp, but again only slightly.

Next up for me is Waddle and I would have no problem giving him a flexible start in a standard league given the setup – but I would feel much better if he played in a lower league. If Hill is out, I think Waddle should start pretty confidently in all leagues.

I would round things off with Robinson, Whittington, Beckham, Johnson, Atwell, but in my eyes they are all just top-class options. If Hill is out, I would place Beckham ahead of Whittington and Robinson, but I still don’t want to use Beckham outside of deeper leagues.

Tight ends

is the best fantasy TE for the Dolphins. He has 302 yards and a touchdown on 30 catches and 40 targets. Smith has six targets in each of the last two weeks.

is the best tight end in LA. He has 214 yards on 23 receptions and 36 targets this season. Parkinson has only managed four goals in the last three games, with zero in last week’s contest.

It’s a favorable matchup for Smith as LA allows 15 fantasy points per game. Smith is expected to receive 11 PPR fantasy points. Miami gives up 10 fantasy points per game, which is a below-average matchup for Parkinson. The LA tight end is only projected to score five fantasy points.

Smith is also my favorite fantasy tight end tonight, and I like him more than a lot of receivers and a few running backs. If I could, I would avoid playing against Parkinson’s in any league.

Kicker

Kicks for LA while it’s the Miami kicker.

Karty is 11 of 13 on his field goals and 15 of 17 on his extra points. Sanders is 14 of 18 on his field goals and has made all 10 of his extra points.

Sanders and Karty are each projected to score seven fantasy points. I like Karty a little more tonight, but wouldn’t mind playing either one.

Defense/Special Teams

So far this season, the Rams are allowing 360.8 yards and 24.3 points per game. Miami is giving up 303.1 yards and 23.4 points.

Los Angeles has 11 takeaways and nine giveaways this season. The Dolphins only have six takeaways and nine giveaways.

Both defenses are projected to score six fantasy points. I’ve debated this game back and forth all week, but I think the Rams are getting the job done. I still wouldn’t mind playing D/ST tonight.
