SNOW WHITE has revealed leaked D23 Brazil footage, a first look at new characters and more of Gal Gadot’s evil queen

D23 Brazil launched on Friday and there was a new trailer for Disney’s live-action Snow White The remake was shown to those in attendance.

Although it hasn’t been officially released (and most likely won’t be released), a few videos have now leaked online that highlight snippets of the footage.

Star Rachel Zegler introduced the teaser, which gives us our first look at Andrew Burnap as Prince(?) Jonathan and Ansu Kabia as the Hunter. We’re seeing a lot more of it too Wonder Woman Star Gal Gadot as the evil queen who favored her stepdaughter when she wasn’t “so stubborn.”

The footage isn’t the clearest (we’ll update it when a better version becomes available), but you can check out the clips and a new standee featuring Zegler as the titular princess at the links below.

This isn’t exactly one of the most anticipated remakes of Mouse House (not many of them), and that’s partly due to the changes to the original story, as well as the first official image from the film, which featured Snow White and… the Seven… CGI people?

Zegler had this to say about the backlash the image received shortly after it was posted:

“This is an iconic thing that people really care about. I don’t want to screw this up for anyone, including myself. The writers and Marc Webb and our entire production team. It’s a little different story-wise. We were able to do “Whistle While You Work,” which made me really happy and excited. I was really nervous, especially because of the technical element. This first look image has been released… and there’s a lot of CGI in the film.”

“I spent most of the day singing to nothing” Zegler continued. “I’m sure you know how that can be too. There was a lot of puppetry and CGI in post. It was really intense. There are a lot of glitches where I throw a broom and have it fall on the floor, because apparently that’s the way you throw things at CGI characters. But it’s so much fun!”

Snow White is led by The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb, and is expected to expand the story of the 1937 animated classic. The film will feature new songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land and The Greatest Showman.

The actors for most of the seven “Dwarves” have not yet been announced, but we know that Martin Klebba, who has appeared in all of them pirates of the Caribbean Movies, will play Grumpy. It’s also been confirmed that the film will feature a younger version of Snow White, suggesting we’ll get some sort of flashback that sheds more light on the title character’s origin.

Snow White is scheduled to hit theaters next March.
