Tanner Frick is abruptly leaving The Voice after being stolen by Michael Bublé

Tanner Frick will no longer compete The voice.

On a Monday, November 11, episode of the NBC singing competition series, host Carson Daly told Michael Bublé that his contestant had left the competition and would not be participating in the Knockouts.

“Michael, Tanner [Frick] left the competition after rehearsals. You still have Cameron [Wright] and Sloane [Simon]said Daly, 51.

A reason for his departure from the competition is not yet known. However, after the episode aired, Frick, 26, shared a TikTok of himself singing in a recording booth.

“Nobody wants me anyway,” he captioned the post.

Frick’s exit comes after the 49-year-old Bublé made his final attack on him in the Battles. His coach at the time, Reba McEntire, chose his opponent to remain in the competition.

“Tanner Frick was a huge victory for me. This is a previous four-chair round and a piece of the puzzle I didn’t have,” the “Feeling Good” singer said.

He added: “I needed that country singer and now I feel like I’m fully in the game. It’s a brave new world we’re about to move into.”

During his blind audition, Frick – who lives in Manchester, Tennessee – received a seat on four chairs as he sang Morgan Wallen’s “Thought You Should Know.”

“They represent so many great parts of the greatest gift America could ever have given to the arts. I want to be a part of it,” Bublé said after his audition.

McEntire added: “Tanner, I thought you sang really, really well. I love this song. When you did that Chris Stapleton growl, it just added so much dimension to your voice.”

Ultimately, Frick decided, “I have to go with you, Reba.”

The voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, and episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
