The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in solving recent property crimes

Calhoun County, AL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating recent property crimes and is calling on the public for help. By encouraging community participation, the Sheriff’s Office hopes to improve public safety and hold those responsible for these criminal activities accountable.

Incident 1: Sometime around 10/27/24, a copper cable was severed from the power line of a residence on US Highway 278 in Piedmont. Half of the severed cable was subsequently stolen.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office emphasizes the importance of community involvement in ensuring safety and security in the region.
