The expert predicts that five-star quarterback Julian Lewis will transfer from USC to Colorado

Head coach Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes appear to be close to landing their potential future starting quarterback.

On Sunday evening, 247Sports national college football recruiting analyst Tom Loy gave a crystal ball prediction for Class of 2025 quarterback Julian Lewis, who will commit to Colorado from the USC Trojans.

USC secured Lewis’ commitment last August, but Colorado and others have made strong pushes since then. Lewis, a five-star prospect from Georgia, has visited Boulder several times during his recruitment, including last month at the Buffs’ home game against Cincinnati.

According to the 247Sports summary, Lewis is the No. 5 quarterback in his recruiting class.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound senior from Carrollton High School has thrown for 2,549 yards, 36 touchdowns and four interceptions this season. Lewis’ Trojans finished their regular season 10-0 and are now preparing for the Georgia 6A state tournament.

Coach Prime currently has 10 commitments from the 2025 class.
