The Netflix hit series “Outer Banks” criticized a “crazy” scene

Fans have speculated that two of the main stars of the Netflix series Outer Banks, Rudy Pankow and Madison Bailey, had an epic argument after raising questions about a scene in the series.

Some viewers believe things may have gone sour between the co-stars, and now a scene between the pair that appears to involve the use of a stunt double has sent viewers into meltdown.

The couple, who have been very close in the past, have always been a fan favorite both on and off screen.

However, with online viewers hoping for an off-screen romance between the two just like their characters, rumors began to emerge that the stars’ respective partners were not happy.

Both actors were even forced to take their fans to task on social media for the constant attacks on their respective partners.

As the final episodes of the final season hit Netflix, fans have now theorized that things have gotten worse between the two stars.

Pankow – whose character JJ tragically died in the finale – and Bailey, who plays Kiara, were seen intimately cuddling in a touching scene.

However, the clever camera angles ensured that the two were never seen on screen at the same time.

Fans rushed to comment on the scene, with many calling the scene “crazy” and some saying it was “obvious” that it may have been a trick.

News.com.au has contacted Netflix for clarification.

“This is just crazy. The fact that Rudy and Madison refused to record it together and had to use stunt doubles just shows their unprofessionalism in their work. And they shouldn’t even be doing anything big in this scene, just giving each other a little hug,” one commented.

“I’ve never seen actors go to such lengths not to interact with each other. This is crazy,” another remarked.

If fans’ theories are correct, it wouldn’t be the first time that two actors filmed a scene separately.

In “The Good Wife,” the final scene between Archie Panjabi and Julianna Margulies was filmed separately and then stitched together by producers to make it appear as if the two were talking to each other.

Although the truth about the feud never came to light, some fans believe it began after Panjabi won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in 2010 for her role.

Margulies was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, but did not win.

When asked if the on-screen tension suggested there was drama behind the scenes, Panjabi hinted that something was afoot. “You know, I can’t answer that, no matter how much I want to. But these decisions are made by the producers. I am not privy to these decisions.”

In 2019, Alan Cumming, a co-star of the couple on the series, confirmed the bad blood between the two actors, but did not give a reason for it.
