THE PENGUIN finale featurette breaks down Oz and Vic’s final scene as an official look [SPOILER] Will be revealed

After last night’s shocking and often harrowing season finale The penguinMax has released a new featurette that takes an in-depth look at “A Great or Little Thing” (You can read our full spoiler recap here).

As you might expect, Oz Cobb’s decision to murder Victor “Vic” Aguilar in cold blood is a big topic of conversation. The teenager has seen Oz at his most vulnerable, and the villain decides that keeping him around will weaken him. He then cruelly strangles Vic to death, although without his help he would not have reached the top of Gotham City’s underworld.

“Towards the end of the show, Victor saw Oz at his most vulnerable.” Showrunner Lauren LeFranc explains in the video below. “The two of them have been through everything together. Someone who recognizes his vulnerability feels like a weakness, and in Oz’s opinion, if he has these weaknesses, he cannot achieve what he thinks he can achieve.”

She adds, “The moment he kills Victor means he kills his own heart and becomes a monster… I knew the goal of the series at the end was to get to the top or get closer to that goal, but if “After he gained power, he also lost a lot of himself.

Rhenzy Feliz, who plays Vic, speaks up: “That he’ll be betrayed by the person he now considers family after we’ve finally done this.'”

Colin Farrell warned us we wouldn’t like Oz anymore The penguin ends and, well, he wasn’t kidding. For producer Matt Reeves, “The fact [Oz] goes to such extremes because he is so broken, that is the tragedy of the story.”

While Batman doesn’t show up The penguinThe finale ends with a panning shot outside of Oz’s new penthouse apartment, where the Bat-Signal shines across the Gotham City skyline.

The implication is that it will be Batman who puts an end to the villain’s schemes, which hopefully means the gangster doesn’t get away with what we’ve seen from him here. In other interviews after the final, Farrell has confirmed he will be there The Batman Part II And The Batman Part IIIso it very much feels like the stage is being set for him to become the Caped Crusader’s final obstacle to ridding Gotham of crime and corruption.
