Three were hospitalized after a rollover crash early Wednesday in northwest Kansas

ST. FRANCIS, Kan. (WIBW) – Three people were hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash in which the driver fell asleep at the wheel early Wednesday in Rawlins County in northwest Kansas, officials said.

The crash was reported at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday on northbound K-25 Freeway about 10 miles northwest of St. Francis.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2007 Saturn Vue was traveling north on K-25 when the driver fell asleep and woke up when the vehicle left the east – or right – side of the roadway.

The driver then overcorrected to the left, causing the vehicle to cross the southbound lane and enter the side of the ditch to the west – or left.

The vehicle then rolled over one and a half times before coming to rest on its passenger side.

All three occupants were taken to the Rawlins County Health Center in Atwood following the accident.

The three were the driver, Lawrence Stephen Longwolf, 25, of Vacaville, California, who reportedly had no apparent injuries; and passengers Kylie R. Cisco, 23, who was suspected of minor injuries, and Sahiyela Longwolf, 1, both of Anadarko, Oklahoma, who was reportedly uninjured.

The patrol said all three occupants of the vehicle were wearing their seatbelts.
