Thunder vs. Clippers Prediction, Tips, Odds: Latest news, injury updates

play

The OKC Thunder host the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday at 7 p.m.

OKC (8-2) suffered a 127-116 home loss to Golden State on Sunday, and Chet Holmgren suffered a fractured right iliac wing. A return-to-play protocol is provided in 8-10 weeks per release.

Los Angeles (6-4) earned a 105-103 home win over Toronto on Saturday. The Clippers are on a four-game winning streak and are led by former Thunder guard James Harden.

Here’s a preview of the game, including score predictions, betting odds and injury updates.

Thunder vs Clippers Prediction, Tips

Justin Martinez: Los Angeles 113, OKC 110

At full strength, OKC is by far the better team. But the Thunder were already short of centers before Holmgren’s injury, and without the 7-1 star the situation will become even smaller. That will be a big problem on Monday when trying to contain Ivica Zubac, a rebounding machine who is currently playing the best basketball of his career. With so much uncertainty surrounding OKC’s fifth spot, I’m giving Los Angeles the slight edge.
