Travis Kelce supports Jason Kelce after the phone throwing incident

Travis Kelce is standing up for his older brother after he recently attacked a spectator at the Penn State game — and says he knows it Jason has no hatred in his heart.

The Kelce brothers kicked off their latest episode of their “New Heights” podcast by addressing the elephant in the room … with the Philadelphia Eagles legend once again expressing regret for entertaining the heckler – particularly the recurring homophobic language , which was thrown into his mouth argument.

The Kansas City Chiefs superstar then spoke about the situation, saying he knows the magnitude of it all is taking its toll on Jason – but he feels like it’s not as big a deal as it’s being made out to be.

“I know it’s bothering you bro, that sucks,” Travis said a few minutes ago. “You shouldn’t feel so much, obviously the scrutiny and the media attention on it and anyone sharing the videos that are out there.”

“That will make the situation a bigger situation than I think it really is,” he continued. “But the real situation is that some damn clown came up to you and talked about your family and you responded in a way that defended your family. And maybe you used some words that you regret. And that’s a situation that you just have to learn from and own.”

Travis went on to say he believes the way Jason handled the backlash shows how sincere he is to people around the world… and he knows his actions are despite what the video shows , does not reflect who he is as a person.

As for Jason, he said his biggest regret was using the “fucking ridiculous” insult… but explained in the heat of the moment that he wanted to “throw that shit right back in his face because…” ** * him.”
