Troy Aikman had a lot of fun with Dolphins WR Lights blaming the bad drop

The Miami Dolphins traveled to Los Angeles on Monday night and picked up a big win on the road, defeating the Rams 23-15 to improve to 3-6 on the season.

Troy Aikman and Joe Buck were on the phone for ESPN and one moment caused some laughter in the booth as they both appeared to be talking about the Dallas Cowboys, but not about the Dallas Cowboys.

You may remember last Sunday’s game where CeeDee Lamb missed an easy touchdown because the sun was shining in his eyes. NFL fans have angered Jerry Jones for building a stadium where the sun shines through the windows and players are blind at crucial moments. Jones defended his stadium after the game, but he should make a simple change to prevent something like this from happening again in the future.

During Monday night’s game, Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle took a bad fall and quickly indicated that the lights were going on in his eyes.

That led to this back and forth between Aikman and Buck.

Aikman: “You see Jaylen Waddle saying the lights went into his eyes.”

Buck: “Go on, go on. It wasn’t the sun. It wasn’t the sun!”

Aikman: “I’d rather not do that. But now the lights are shining in people’s eyes. What are you going to do?”

Aikman might have stopped short of ripping off the Cowboys, but his laugh seemed to say enough about how absurd the problem with Jones’ stadium is.
