Tuskegee falls to Miles College in their anniversary home game

TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WSFA) – It was a golden matchup between the Golden Bears and Golden Tigers on Tuskegee University’s centennial homecoming. But the Golden Tigers left their home stadium with a 37-7 loss to their old rivals.

Tuskegee didn’t score until the final quarter, by which point their opponents already had a 24-point lead. After the Golden Bears scored two more times, quarterback Raequan Beal completed a 22-yard pass to wide receiver Reggie Brigman for their only touchdown in the final minutes of the game.

Next up for the Golden Tigers is the big Turkey Day Classic at Alabama State University.

Miles College’s website states that this is the third time they have beaten Tuskegee in their home game since 2011.
