Tyler Faraz Niknam, better known by his online nickname Trainwreckstv, has been banned Twitch Early November 2024. This is the content creator’s first Twitch ban in over half a decade.

Trainwreckstv has streamed everything from in the past CS: GO And World of Warcraft To Apex Legends, Among us, FortniteAnd League of Legends. Most recently, the 33-year-old content creator made one rust event, which he began livestreaming on Twitch on November 8th.

Popular streamer Trainwreck criticizes newly launched streaming platform Kick.com for its inaction against viewbot-powered gambling streams.

A day later, the Amazon-owned streaming service blocked his channel. Trainwreckstv immediately took to social media to share his frustration with this turn of events, pointing out that he hasn’t been banned from Twitch in over half a decade, which is why he believes he should have been warned before the ban rust Event interrupted. “A warning would have been great,” Trainwreckstv wrote in a Nov. 9 tweet.



Trainwreckstv was banned from Twitch for “user spam.”

The content creator’s statement also included a screenshot of his ban notice, which revealed that his channel was banned for “user spam.” According to Twitch community guidelines, this can include anything from intrusive self-promotion and intense chatbot activity to excessive in-stream notifications and requests for viewers to spam other channels. The streaming service did not elaborate on what exactly Trainwreckstv did to justify the ban, nor did the content creator publicly speculate on the reasons behind it.


Trainwreckstv’s Twitch ban was lifted earlier than expected

Although the suspension was scheduled to last for three days, it was lifted in the early hours of November 10th. Trainwreckstv then thanked its fans for their support on the matter, referencing its original complaint about the ban, which racked up 610,000 views and hundreds of comments and retweets in the first 19 hours of posting. He suggested that this attention had something to do with the early lifting of the suspension.

Trainwreckstv therefore intends to continue its work rust Event around 9 a.m. ET today, November 11th, after already saying so in a recent update.
