Tyreek Hill is playing with torn wrist ligaments and says it was aggravated by incarceration earlier in the season

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill told ESPN’s Lisa Salters that he tore ligaments in his left wrist before Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Hill did not participate in team practice on Friday and Saturday, but was not listed on the injury report on Thursday. He was seen on the field with tape on both wrists during pregame warmups on Monday night.

Hill told the Salters that the wrist bothered him during training camp and worsened while he was in police custody before the team’s season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Initial MRI scans revealed a torn ligament in his wrist, which he did not disclose until Monday because “he didn’t know how to feel, what to do or how to deal with the injury” because he rarely gets injured during this time have his career, Salters reported.
