Mike Tyson has been hyping his upcoming fight with Jake Paul ahead of Friday’s event at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“This is the greatest battle in the history of life. There’s never been a fight this big,” Tyson told TMZ Sports on Tuesday.

When asked for a round prediction, Tyson replied: “Well, I’m not a clairvoyant, but he will sleep.”

The upcoming fight will be Tyson’s first professionally sanctioned bout since 2005.

Tyson, 58, is a former heavyweight world champion who comes into the fight with a record of 50-6 (44 knockouts). He last saw action in an exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

Paul, a 27-year-old former YouTuber who began his professional boxing career in 2018, enters the fight with a record of 10-1 (seven knockouts). He has won four straight fights, most recently scoring a sixth-round TKO victory against Mike Perry in July.

The two were originally scheduled to meet in July before the fight was postponed after Tyson suffered a bout of stomach ulcers.

“Forget that, I’m fine now…nothing’s going to stop me from beating Jake Paul,” Tyson said when TMZ Sports asked him about his past health issues.

Tyson confirmed he lost around 20 pounds while dealing with the health issue, but said he “got it all back.”

Netflix has shared a preview of the upcoming battle Countdown: Paul vs. Tysona documentary series detailing Paul and Tyson’s training for the fight.

The event, scheduled to take place on Friday at 8 p.m. ET, will be streamed on Netflix. Rounding out the fight card are Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano for the women’s super lightweight title, Mario “El Azteca” Barrios vs. Abel Ramos for the welterweight title and Neeraj Goyat vs. Whindersson Nunes in a super middleweight bout.
