Watch Fantastic Four actors John Krasinski and Chris Evans team up for a skit

Reed Richards and Johnny Storm look a little different in this timeline.

John Krasinski and Chris Evans, who both played Fantastic four Characters in various films teamed up for a hilarious ’80s-themed skit on Tuesday’s episode of The Late Show Krasinski, who was recently named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive, shared some ridiculous tips and tricks to help host Stephen Colbert become more attractive.

However, the seemingly innocent skit took a strange turn when Krasinski tasked Colbert with tracking down Evans — already named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2022 — and stealing his DNA. “What the fuck?” a coughing Evans shouted after Colbert’s surprise smear test. In response, the host confessed, “I need your spit to make me sexy!”

After successfully obtaining the skewer, Colbert returned to Krasinski’s lab, where the actor revealed that the next step in his journey would be to “extract Chris Evans’ sexy DNA using the genetics lab you bought with the money, with which you have earned, have built up”. The office Repeats.”

After a quick break for some sexy treadmill training, Krasinski fed Colbert the synthesized serum made from Evans’ DNA, which unfortunately wouldn’t turn him into Captain America or Johnny Storm, but would hopefully make him sexier.

Although both play the main role Fantastic four Krasinski and Evans never appeared on screen together as members of Marvel’s first family, as their films took place in different timelines. Krasinski played a version of Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic in 2022 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswhile Evans played Johnny/The Human Torch in the first two Fox films Fantastic four films and recently took on the role in Deadpool and Wolverine. Evans, of course, also played Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for about eight years.

They aren’t the only actors who have spent time as characters either. Top Gun: Maverick‘s Miles Teller and Believe‘S Michael B. Jordan also played Reed and Johnny in Fox’s 2015 Fantastic four reboot, and Pedro Pascal and Joseph Quinn will be putting their own spin on the characters in Marvel’s upcoming film.
