A 55-year-old Westchester County man was stabbed to death at an upscale Queens nightclub early Monday morning after he and the suspect got into an argument, police and law enforcement officials said.

Percy Forrest, of Port Chester, was stabbed in the chest about 2:20 a.m. at the Agenda Restaurant and Lounge in Astoria and was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to Elmhurst Hospital, authorities said.

According to sources, the victim and suspect were in an argument when the alleged perpetrator produced a knife and stabbed Forrest.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot. According to sources, a person of interest was arrested near the nightclub.

Police had not announced charges in the case as of Monday evening.

It was not immediately known whether the victim and suspect were guests or employees of the club.

The agenda closed Monday when police cordoned off the crime scene with crime scene tape.

“It’s pretty tragic. Look, this isn’t a bad area,” said Ramo Besi, the owner of Mela Pizza across the street.

“Even the club itself. Only a few very good people come in. It’s terrible.”

Besi praised the nightclub as “one of the most beautiful places in all of Queens.”

“Go inside, you’ll see,” he told The Post. “Nice kitchen, nice dining room, everything.”

A worker at a nearby supermarket said he was not shocked by the deadly violence. He said the scene can be “hectic” at peak times.

“I knew something would happen with this club too,” Bander, 47, told The Post. “You know, valet parking is outside. There’s a lot of shit going on. Bad crowds.”

An employee at the posh lounge, described as a restaurant serving Latin American cuisine, declined to comment when reached by phone Monday.
