DENVER

  • DeAndre Craig: The 6-foot-2 guard leads Denver in scoring (13.5 points per game) and assists (4.5 per game). He also plays the most minutes. Craig has been somewhat prone to turnovers (nine this season).
  • Sebastian Akins: The 6-foot-2 guard leads the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game and has the most shot attempts on the team.
  • Pedro Lopez-Sanvicente: The 6-foot-2 forward from Spain posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Western Colorado.

STATE OF COLORADO

  • Nique Clifford: The fifth-year winger is off to a sensational start to his final collegiate season. He scored 25.5 points per game in CSU’s first two games, including a career-high 31 against Tennessee State. He has a total of 27 rebounds (13.5 per game) through the first two games. He is crucial offensively and defensively.
  • Jalen Lake: The seasoned veteran was quiet in CSU’s first game, but scored a career-high 22 last time out. He’s been excellent defensively on the perimeter for the Rams.
  • Jaylen Crocker-Johnson: CSU’s big man had foul trouble in the first two games. He was dangerous offensively on the court, but the Rams need to be more available than him (just 13.5 minutes per game). Especially with Rashaan Mbemba struggling with an injury, CSU needs Crocker-Johnson.
