Where to stream election TV news for free or on-demand to cover the 2024 statewide election results

The 2024 election ends tonight with a tight race between former President Donald Trump and current Vice President and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. Popular news channels, media organizations and late-night comedians will all be covering the events and results of Election Day 2024 on Tuesday, and there are a few ways to watch the show for free.

There are reportedly only a small number of voters in key swing states who will cast their ballot and likely determine a winner. We don’t yet know when the results will be clear, but millions of Americans will be watching closely to see what happens. Here’s how to follow news as it develops on Tuesday and in the days following one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime.

TV coverage: Major cable news networks including CNN, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network and MSNBC will provide 24-hour coverage on Tuesday. C-SPAN will also carry live coverage throughout the day on Tuesday. Telemundo will offer Spanish-language coverage in prime time.
