Who was eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars”? Season 33, Week 7

It was a milestone night for “Dancing With the Stars.”

After a week-long hiatus due to election night, the dance competition show celebrated its 500th episode on November 12 with a special opening number of “Crazy In Love,” which included a surprise appearance from Sharna Burgess as well as judge Derek Hough and co-host Julianne Hough. The groundbreaking evening also included a nod to the past with the couple’s routines.

Co-host Alfonso Ribeiro also gave a nod to the late judge Len Goodman after introducing OG judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

“And of course we all miss our original head judge Len very much,” Ribeiro said. “But his spirit lives on in the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, which all our couples are competing for in just two weeks.”

The six remaining couples performed the same songs that opened the first episode of Dancing with the Stars in Season 1, but with a twist. Each couple paid tribute by putting their own unique spin on the OG song.

In addition, the stars were put to the ultimate test in the Instant Dance Challenge. During the second half of the night, the couples had to perform a surprise routine, not knowing the dance style or song until five minutes before the live performance.
