Zendaya and Anne Hathaway cast in Chris Nolan’s film with Tom Holland

Christopher Nolan is adding more A-listers to his latest film: Zendaya and Anne Hathaway are joining the cast of the director’s next feature.

Zendaya will join her Spider-Man Co-stars Tom Holland in the untitled Nolan feature, which will also star Matt Damon. As for Hathaway, she will be reuniting with Nolan after previously working with the director on the Batman film. The Dark Knight rises.

Plot details are being kept secret. Nolan wrote the screenplay and is directing the project, which Universal Pictures will distribute. The studio has set a release date of July 17, 2026.

Nolan is producing alongside his producing partner and wife Emma Thomas for their Syncopy banner.

The new feature film reunites Nolan with the studio that produced his drama Oppenheimerwhich grossed a staggering $976 million worldwide. Oppenheimer marked the filmmaker’s first time working with Universal, a relationship forged after Nolan publicly parted ways with his longtime home Warner Bros. in late 2020 Oppenheimer According to sources, Universal’s new project was auctioned off at an open auction and eventually went straight to the studio.

Zendaya is currently in the midst of awards season, campaigning with two films: Dune: Part 2 And challenger. She is currently filming the A24 feature film, The dramastarring Robert Pattinson and Alana Haim.

Hathaway was most recently seen in the popular Amazon title Your idea. Her upcoming film includes the David Lowery film Mother Mary and Warner Bros. titles Flowervale Street by Bad Robot.
